Healing in the Herd Workshop
A Day of Equine-Led Discovery
Hosted by Emily Berry
There are some things we only hear once life quiets down a little.
The workshops at Rooted Oaks Ranch are designed to create that kind of space. Space to notice patterns more clearly. Space to reconnect with yourself. Space to step out of constant pressure and into something more grounded, honest, and steady.
Held on 56 acres in Magnolia, Texas, each experience blends conversation, experiential work, movement, reflection, and the quiet presence of horses and land in ways that feel thoughtful, approachable, and deeply human.
Horses notice what most people miss.
They respond to tension before words are spoken. They recognize hesitation, collapse, overreaching, and emotional incongruence without needing an explanation. In their presence, patterns become harder to hide from, but also easier to understand without judgment.
Healing in the Herd is an experiential workshop centered around observation, reflection, nervous system awareness, and guided interaction with the horses at Rooted Oaks Ranch.
Throughout the day, participants spend time both observing and engaging with the herd through facilitated exercises designed to reveal emotional and relational patterns in real time. No riding experience is needed. In fact, no horse experience at all is required.
Only a willingness to slow down and pay attention.
