Where healing
takes root.

Rooted Oaks Ranch is a threshold — a place where individuals and families cross from the weight of what has been, into the possibility of what can be. A world where restoration is a right rather than a luxury, the land is healing, and no one walks the path of transformation alone.

Rolling wooded pasture with horses grazing at Rooted Oaks Ranch

Where the land does half the work

56 acres of old-growth oak, open pasture, and quiet that invites you to breathe again.

As you walk past the fields, shaded by the oak canopy, you borrow calm from the horses. No words needed — they mirror you without judgment. Now, exhale.

We slow down, expose roots, and get back clarity and hope within your core for balance, attunement, and secure attachment.

There is an entry point for everyone

Whether you're just beginning to understand what's happening beneath the surface, or ready for deeper work — each experience is part of a larger path forward.

Allie Haydon, Clinical Director

Allie Haydon

Steward of the Heartwood. Executive Director - LMFT-S, LPC-S, LCDC

Allie Haydon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor who has spent 15 years passionately dedicated to walking alongside teens.Allie Haydon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) who has spent 15 years passionately dedicated to walking alongside teens, adults, and families through some of life's most challenging seasons. With deep specialization in grief, trauma, substance use, codependency, attachment, identity, self-esteem, and the beautiful, complex work of building healthy relationships, she brings both confidence and genuine warmth to every therapeutic space she holds.

She believes wholeheartedly that healing doesn't happen in isolation. Even when an individual shows up alone, the voices of their support system — their family, their loved ones, their community — arrive with them. That relational context is never ignored; it is woven into the work, honored as part of the story, and treated as a powerful force in the journey toward change.

Working collaboratively from a Solution Focused perspective, she partners with every client to uncover the strength and resilience that already lives within them. It is an honor and a privilege to witness the courage it takes to show up, and she never takes lightly the trust placed in her to hold space for someone's story and transformation.

Rooted in more than just her clinical expertise, she has ridden horses her entire life and currently competes in Three Day Eventing alongside her horse, Rhiannon. In her equine partners, she finds calm, grounding, and a depth of connection that mirrors the very things she helps her clients cultivate within themselves and in their relationships. That spirit of trust, partnership, and presence lives at the core of Rooted Oaks Ranch.

Amy Jacobs, Director of Equine Connection

Amy Jacobs

Amy has worked in equine-assisted psychotherapy for more than 25 years, combining national horse show competition experience with nursing and relational healing work.Amy Jacobs has worked in equine-assisted psychotherapy for more than 25 years. Before moving into therapeutic work, she spent years competing on the national horse show circuit, later combining that experience with her background in nursing and relational healing work. Over time, Amy developed her own approach to equine-assisted psychotherapy centered less on exercises and more on the real relationship between the client and the horse. She believes horses respond honestly to energy, presence, and authenticity — which is often where meaningful insight begins.
